Lemon Sugar Cookies

1 cup sugar
½ cup butter
2 eggs
1 teaspoon lemon extract
2 teaspoons baking powder
2 cups flour

Cream butter and sugar well, add eggs and lemon extract and beat. Sift the dry ingredients together and add. Mix well. Shape the dough into balls with hands. Flatten slightly, dip in sugar and arrange on greased cookie sheets. Bake at 375 - 400 degrees for about 10 minutes.
